Sam Leishman

I graduated from SRUC Oatridge in May 2023, while studying I did placement at both Glasgow University Small Animal Hospital as well as Lawrie's Falkirk branch - I loved the business and the exotic aspect of the practice, so when a job came up at Lawrie's in Cumbernauld, I applied for it. Luckily, I was successful and have been working at the Cumbernauld branch since August 2022. My favourite aspects of nursing are surgical (monitoring anaesthetics), lab work and nursing consults - I love building a rapport with clients and their pet. At home I have 2 cats, Norman and Robert The Puss. My favourite animals to deal with in practice are probably Guinea Pigs and Rats, however I have a sweet spot for reptiles as well.
